Bayleys had been located at their Viaduct harbour address for nearly 18 years and had established itself as not only their base of operations in Auckland but a ‘go to’ destination for auctions and the local commercial community around it. The decision to move was not taken lightly and an in depth feasibility and planning exercise was undertaken with Bayley’s and their leadership team. The outcome of which is the product over 18months planning and design work, culminating in the new Bayley’s House address at 30 Gaunt Street.
Bayley’s not only initiated a move to a new location, but seized this as an opportunity to explore a cultural change within its agent and staff community. Seeing the benefits for not only the current but future Bayley’s business requirements.
In partnership with Platform Consulting Group, we created a dynamic and flexible working environment not seen in New Zealand based real estate houses. The notion of visibility, collaboration, and communication where the key elements to this very successful project.
